In order to offer guests the best experience, please arrive well before sunset. We specifically chose a dark and remote location which as a result can be hard to get around for the first time in total darkness, however roads are clearly signposted and directions are clear, you should be able to find your tent even in the dark for the first time. Check out: By 10:00am Variations on these times may be available and there may be a charge but must be arranged prior. Please enquire before making your booking. Before departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate rubbish bins provided, and crockery and cutlery washed and packed away. The Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. If the BBQ/Rotisserie has been utilized at Pisces or Ophiuchus please ensure it is thoroughly cleaned using the products provided. If it is left in an untidy manor a $50 cleaning fee will be charged. All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived. The property should be vacated on time and secured. All doors need to be zipper up or closed. **Bookings** Bubbletent Australia is an adult only campsite and is unsuitable for babies, children, or teenagers. You must be at least eighteen (18+) years of age to make a booking and stay at Bubbletent Australia. You must pay the full amount of your stay before the booking will be confirmed. You agree to not bring any more people than the bubbletent has been booked for. It is two (2) adults permitted per tent. Only paying guests are allowed on the property and visitors are strictly not permitted. This includes (but is not limited to) photographers, tour operators and other local service providers. Permission may be granted only by management’s prior consent and at managements sole discretion. Only those persons indicated on the booking form may enter the bubbletent and use the property. Bubbletent Australia reserves the right to request additional guests to leave if this is not adhered to; and in extreme circumstances may evict you from the property without a refund. Bubbletent Australia reserves the right to either: - Request additional guests to leave and pay a minimum fee of $250 per person per night: - Request all guests to leave without a refund and pay a fee of minimum $250 per person per night. Due to the close proximity of wildlife and stock, no pets are allowed on the property. If guests are found to have a pet, or there is evidence of a pet having been on the premises, Bubbletent Australia reserves the right to either: - Request guests to remove the pet immediately and pay a cleaning fee of a minimum $250; - Request guests to leave without a refund and pay a cleaning fee of a minimum $250. Bubbletent Australia strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover items including but not limited to: loss of booking amount through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses. When staying at Bubbletent Australia, please keep all valuables and belongings safe. There are no provisions of locks or a safe at any of our tents. In the event that your personal possessions are lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced on the premises, Bubbletent Australia does not assume financial responsibility. Strictly no smoking is permitted on the property and/or in the bubbletent. Any evidence of smoking and/or inappropriate use of fire outside of designated places and/or inappropriate disposal of charcoal can attract an additional cleaning surcharge of a minimum of $250 and a referral to the authorities for negligent behaviour in the most extreme cases. You will also find a fully-run tub of rainwater for the duration of your stay, it can take the bath up to 180min (even more if instructions aren’t followed closely) to heat up to body temperature depending on the conditions and season. Wood-fired bath is thoroughly cleaned or filtered with approved systems between guest stays. Wood-fired bathtubs can be refilled at a cost, please enquire prior to emptying bath with either caretaker or . Please don’t use your own bubblebaths, soaps, salts, shampoos or scrubs or anything else prior to checking with management. An earlier check in of 2pm is available to single nights mainly to permit longer time to heat the bathtub for single night stays. You will find additional safety instructions on the use of wood-fired bathtub on an infographic at each bath area, it can also be obtained by contacting . Please note that while every endevour is made to ensure guest privacy that the property is a working farm and roads and paddocks are in use 24/7. We will worry about emptying it, cleaning and removal of charcoal, you just enjoy it and work on your fire-making and fire-maintenance skills, videos and infographics will be provided to guests and a caretaker is at hand to assist the process. Our bubbletents are located on rural and often undeveloped areas of land that may not be staffed 24/7. As such you (the guest or traveller) acknowledge that it is your responsibility to maintain your own safety in and around our bubbletents and property. You acknowledge that you are aware of the risks entailed in the remote rural environment (including but not limited to: spiders, wombat holes, snakes, hot summer temperatures, cold temperatures in winter, windy conditions, unexpected bushfires and smoke, snow and icy conditions, hail, thunder and lightning, high escarpments) and the low-light environment at night that is preserved for the benefit of stargazing. The location of your bubbletent will be sent in a welcome guide upon full receipt of funds and the completion of the online check-in and credit card authorization process within two weeks of your stay. You won’t be able to attend and risk forfeiting your booking if you fail to complete the pre-authorization. The pre-authorisation is $350. Any damage, loss or expense incurred by management as a result of your stay will be charged against the pre-authorized credit card used during the online check in and may exceed the limit of the pre-authorization if the costs incurred exceed the pre-authorization. Examples of this include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements or extra guests beyond those declared. You agree to leave the site and the bubbletent in the condition it was on arrival, and that you will report any damages which have occurred during your stay. Bookings may be transferred to another guest only with managements prior written approval and the payment of a $80 variation fee. All bookings are subject to availability. **Cancellation policy** Due to high demand for our bubbletents, please only book the dates you wish to stay. Please note, our emails are stagged generally 9am-5pm on business days only. Any cancellation or variation to your booking will attract a $80 Variation Fee, excluding any booking or merchant fees. Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 30 days prior to the scheduled check in date to avoid any additional fees. (please note this be up to 32 calendar days if the booking falls on for example Monday 4th of Oct, we would need to be notified by 5pm on Friday 2nd of Sept to avoid any fees) Cancellations or reschedules made between 29 days and 15 days prior to the scheduled check in date will be required to pay 50% of the booking including the Variation Fee. Cancellations or reschedules made less than 14 days prior to the scheduled check in date will be required to pay 100% of the booking including the Variation Fee. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days. From time to time it may be necessary for Bubbletent Australia to cancel your booking due to events beyond its control. Such events include but are not limited to extreme weather events, bushfires, government directions, government mandated shutdowns, infectious disease, pandemics, or virus, mechanical failures. If Bubbletent Australia is required to cancel your booking due to an event beyond its control, then Bubbletent Australia will provide you with a gift voucher for the same value as the amount you have paid to Bubbletent Australia as at the date of cancellation. Check in is after 3pm and check out is by 10am. For one night stays we normally are able to offer a 2pm earlier check in, so guests have more time to get their woodfired bathtub warmed up. We also have the ability to vary the check in and check out times at $45 p/hr with prior arrangement. ##### How many nights should I book ideally book for? Guest time restrictions and budgets aside, one of the questions we’re often asked is: “what is the right amount of time to stay with us?” The Bubbletent experience was designed as two to three nights, as the optimum length of stay. Why? Partly because one night often feels like an arrival followed quickly by a departure. But also partly because the experience has been designed for you to sync into nature. Breathing in the crisp mountain air, while overlooking the vast canyon. Enjoying the call of birds and the rustle of the trees, with the hop of roos – the swagger of wombats – and the cocky glide of eagles – the presence of the moody moon, followed by the magical transition to the waking world. All from the vantage of the towering escarpments that each and every tent is perched on. There’s no real schedule here. Maybe it’s a walk through the valley, a slow afternoon on the deck, or an adventure out to a winery for a tipple and a swirl? Maybe even a kayak in the Dunns Swamp in Rylstone?! Now this all takes its time. As should you when here, our dear guest. With curated playlists that help to calm the mind, ample hikes to tire the body, outdoor kitchens to busy the hands, daybeds, suspended nets, hammocks, treehouses and a vast array of features at hand to stir delight, stoking a fire to gradually heat the bathtub, (imagine feeling the crackle of a gentle fire behind you under a blanket of stars as the warm water soothes your body while this[ song plays](https://open.spotify.com/track/7diHYiQh4qQ5ZEOV0zWeLD?si=43076412a8864389) in the background to the backdrop of nature)…Before long the fire is crackling, the stars are out, and the day has slipped by without much effort at all. Then do it all again for another day to compare to what came before it. In Capertee Valley no two days are ever the same We invite you to try it for yourself. Find out why “pictures don’t do the place justice” remains our most consistent piece of feedback from our guests. ##### How many tents are available? We have two new tent called Ophiuchus and Pisces. And our legacy tents, Virgo, Leo and Cancer, named after their respective constellations. All located on the one big property in Central Tablelands NSW, where each tent can’t see any of the other tents when on the decking. ##### Do you offer group bookings? Our tents are designed for a maximum of two adults per tent. Guests are welcome to book additional tents for the same date and can enjoy themselves at one particular site with their friends and retire for the night to their designated tent. ##### What activities are available nearby? Please refer to ‘Your stay’ tab then ‘Things to do’. ##### What’s the exact address for Google Maps? To preserve the privacy and enjoyment of our paid guests we only disclose that upon booking, in a welcome pack which you will receive after checking in no later than two weeks before your stay. Please see ‘Location’ for approximate details on the location. ##### How safe and secluded is it? It’s a clear tent, remote, in some of the darkest skies in the world. It’s a mixture of excitement and dread for some people, we get it. To help ease any concerns, the tents are located on a 1000 acre property, at the end of a road, with each site being tucked away on remote paddocks 3km away from the main entrance. Our property is monitored and every step has been taken to ensure you have it all to yourself. There are plenty of cute sheep, goats and some of the most spectacular wildlife in Australia. Still do exercise common sense, don’t feed the animals, don’t leave food unattended and wear enclosed footwear when stepping off the decking. If there are any problems, there is a caretaker that is available to you 24/7. All necessary contact numbers are in the welcome pack. ##### Are pets allowed? We sadly can’t accomodate any furry friends. ##### Can I bring my baby, toddler, or child? We sadly can’t accomodate any ankle-bitting ones either. We are an adult only campsite and unfortunately do not have facilities suitable for well-behaved children, babies or teens. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to make a booking and stay with us. ##### What food options are available? We suggest stocking up on perishables in Lithgow (if not before you leave home), if you’re coming from Sydney. We suggest trying the following cafes: – The Hub if you’re coming to us via Bathurst – Hometown if you’re coming through Lithgow – Alby & Esther if you’re coming via Mudgee (and inquiring about any food packs they might have available) Guests are encouraged to BYO. Please see in ‘Your Stay’ as to what cooking utensils we have. In terms of where you can get food around here, Mudgee is a 55min drive away with world-class cafes and eateries, Capertee BP Service stations plus Capertee Hotel provide a decent meal some 20min away. Please call ahead to check opening hours and availability. ##### Is there phone reception and/or WiFi? Yes there is reception at the tent sites for most of the bigger carriers. However sometimes it does drop out, naturally we don’t have any control over this happening. ##### What are the shower and toilet facilities like? Each tent has its own bathroom facilities. Our legacy tents, Leo, Virgo and Cancer, feature eco friendly compost toilets inside. Instead of flushing, you’ll use absorbent sawdust, courtesy of Mother Nature’s ingenuity, to soak up liquids and neutralise odours. Our two newer tents, Pisces and Ophiuchus, are both equipped with flushing integrated toilets (think Japanese toilet with sink on top of the flushing cistern), for those who prefer a more traditional setup. There are running hot outdoor showers at all three tent sites in nature, some guests have described them as their favourite feature! Feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions around the compost toilet but if you haven’t experienced composting of this nature, rest assured it’s nowhere near as scary as it may seem upon first impression! 😆 ##### Can I book for just one night? We have a two night min stay policy. We do find ourselves with the odd day left out and might be able to offer it when requested, however the exemption carries a fee of $90 to cover the additional cleaning required as well as the resources around the wood-fired hot tub in our dry region. If you do see a single date we’d need your following information in order to send through a tentative reservation – - Your email - Your mobile - Your Address - Occasion you’re celebrating - Your partner’s name - How you heard about us ##### Can I cancel my booking? Yes, you can cancel your booking. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the check-in date may be eligible for a partial refund, depending on the cancellation policy applicable to your booking. Cancellations made within 30 days of the check-in date may not be refundable. For the most up-to-date information regarding our cancellation policy, please refer to our ‘Booking Terms and Conditions’ page on our website. ##### What if the weather is 'bad'? When guests book with us, they book an experience in nature. Whether they’re lucky enough to experience a multitude of shooting stars or lucky enough to experience all four seasons, mother nature will do her thing regardless of our desires and you will in turn be rewarded by mother nature in her spectrum of splendour! (Intermittent fog at night on a full moon is the most favourite experiences in the tent for this author!) However we know some guests are of the mindset that if they encounter anything but a clear blanket of stars that the experience won’t live up to what they had envisioned. So to try to allay your concerns possibly though, thankfully most of the time if there is ‘rain’ or ‘storms’ predicted or any other unruly weather, they’re usually passing events (if they eventuate in the first place) and forecasts tend to change literally on an hourly basis in our experience and it is very difficult to ascertain the weather outcome even on the day. As we live outside of the Blue Mountains, we are in whats considered a ‘Temperate Climate’ with roughly some 700mm of rain annually (half that of Sydney) meaning we tend to have relatively dry winters. This is the most reliable weather forecast for our location that we’ve found [here](https://www.weatherzone.com.au/) which might help. Here is also the [Live Traffic app](https://www.livetraffic.com/) which shows in real time of best roads to take which might be relevant. The roads on our property leading to the tent are all-weather also but gravel roads and despite our best efforts, can be rough in spots so best to check with us with what car you’re looking to bring (low-lying sports cars aren’t suitable for example) It would be extremely rare for there to be a single weather event to take place the whole time (such as rain) for the whole duration of your stay, (super rare, but it has happened in the past) all facilities have been designed to take advantage of the beauty of the location and to take mother nature into account wherever possible. There are light cooking provisions inside the legacy tents (a small gas cooker which can be used practically and away from walls and combustibles obviously.) and a full-fledged all-weather cooking station for our newer tents with a tilt-door awning and all-weather wood-fire cooking station, We also have a dry firewood box of firewood which allows our guests to be able to light and enjoy the wood-fired bathtub in all weather. We have ponchos in all tents in the drawers if they become needed. We do have videos, written instructions at the bathtub area and there is a caretaker available to guide you through if needed also. As is said famously by nature-lovers ‘there is no such thing as bad weather, only suitable clothing’ 🙂 We do find that guests who are best prepared for all events tend to have the best time regardless of what mother nature throws their way (besides, watching the world roll by in all four seasons from the comfort of a transparent tent is magical on its own!) they do some of the following which might come in handy: -Bring extra reading material -Games to play with your partner (or couple’s apps such as these) -Bring a spare bag with clothing that might suit the conditions if the weather eventuates -Have backup plans of maybe exploring a surrounding location with what they deem to be more favorable weather (such as wine tasting in Mudgee?) However if guests bring the right mind-set to this experience, the weather will just be a by product to reconnecting with your bubble buddy and letting this wonderful experience in nature wash over you! ##### Does it get hot inside the tent? Pisces and Ophiuchus have a geothermal reverse-cycle ducted air con. Virgo has a ducted air con so it can be nice and cosy inside even on the hottest of days with the sunshield up and Leo and Cancer have a very effective and powerful Dyson fan that works of solar! We are blessed with 1100m elevation here which makes our climate milder and puts us in the ‘Goldilocks’ zone, not too hot and not too cold. For us a 30+ degree day is unusually hot in summer and a rule of thumb we tend to be 10-15 degrees cooler than Penrith and a lot drier. Once the sunshield is up on a hot day it does get a lot better with the ACs but the sunshield doesn’t cover the whole tent and light and heat is still able to get into the tent. Guests will need to put the sunshield on after checkout or on the second day of their two night stay. We’d suggests guests don’t spend more time than necessary inside the tent between 10am-2pm on clear hot days even with the sunshield up and the air con on if it’s not comfortable. Take advantage of the shaded spots known as ‘lazy decks’ at legacy tents and a feature in the shade as well as daybeds with retractable hoods. Pisces and Ophiuchus have tilt door of the kitchen and shaded ‘leaves’. ##### Does it get cold inside the tent? **Winter at Bubbletent – Cosy, Starry & Surprisingly Mild** Our newest tents, **Pisces** and **Ophiuchus**, come equipped with **geothermal reverse-cycle ducted air conditioning**, delivering off-grid luxury through every season. **Virgo**, our beloved original, features a powerful ducted air con system as well. Perched above the **cold-settling line**, we enjoy a gentler winter—last year, we didn’t dip below zero even on the coldest nights. It can still get chilly, of course, but not bitter. Add to that **high-tech electric blankets** in all legacy tents, **plenty of woollen throws**, and **shelter from the wind-chill** inside the bubble, and you’ve got yourself one toasty glamping experience. --- ### ❄️ Why Winter Might Be the Best Time to Visit: - **Longer nights** mean more time under the stars - The **Milky Way** is at its most visible in the southern hemisphere winter - **Minimal heat refraction** = clearer, sharper stargazing But if you’re **not a winter person**, we totally get it. The **shoulder seasons or summer** might be more your style. That said, Mother Nature is an **unpredictable mistress**—even in summer, we recommend packing for **all four seasons**. At a bare minimum: **beanie and cosy jumper** (yes, we sleep with our beanies on!). There’s an outdoor firepit for when you want to sit under the stars, and one of the most common bits of feedback we get is just how **incredibly warm and inviting the bedding is**. Dive into the stories and significance of the stars in this fascinating tradition. ## EXPLORING THE COSMOS THROUGH ABORIGINAL WISDOM Indigenous Australian culture dates back to what new evidence points could be some 65,000 years. Mounting evidence is uncovering some of the earliest tool-making, ‘land management’ (including farming) as well as evidence of being some of the oldest astronomers in the world; who could track tidal changes, animal behaviors, food supply availability and temperature shifts. Revealing a much more sophisticated culture than western history has portrayed it as. With over 400 Aboriginal tribes spread across the vast continent-country of Australia the tribes overall have distinctly differing cultures, beliefs and differing astronomical interpretations depending on their locations. While sharing certain commonalities like the Emu in the sky (more on that below) other factors like seasons can vary drastically. tribes in the Southern parts of Australia have four seasons that they identified while tribes above the tropics could have anything up to 13 distinct seasons. Aboriginal people relied almost exclusively on paintings and oral histories leaving little documented supporting evidence for researchers to build their understanding of the traditional cultures. Following a largely nomadic existence and with the early European settlement interference decimating tribal life affecting the intergenerational passing of stories and traditions has definitely hindered researchers’ depth of knowledge. Wurdi Youang stone arrangement site in Wathaurong country near Ballarat in Victoria has shown through Carbon dating that the arrangement was made some 11,000 years ago. The stones were positioned to track the winter and summer solstice with three stones pointing to the summer equinox. Various research has removed the possibility that this formation could be a freakish event caused by nature but rather portray a culture that was well-attuned to the timings of the cosmos and could utilize its movements to aid tribal living. Aborigines not only used the heavens to determine practical aspects of their lives, a rich story-telling tradition developed that helped to interpret their beliefs and values. Most notable is the Emu in the Sky, that stretches the length of the milky way galaxy where the dark spots observed along the length of the galaxy outline the shape of an emu. While almost exclusively all of the tribes refer to the sun as a woman and the moon a man, they have varied stories interpreting their celestial rhythms, ranging from the moon reaching obesity (when at full moon) to the point of needing to be cut down to lose that weight with some interpreting the sun-woman walking through the dark sky with a torch on a search. In western culture, Orion and orion’s belt is used as a distinguished marker in the sky, the Yolgnu people in Northern Territory see the three stars that outline Orion’s belt as three brothers in a Canoe (Djulpan) who were banished for eating the sacred kingfish against tribal traditions for eternity. Another fascinating story tradition is one that is puzzling both indigenous and western cultures to this day. Interpreted by the indigenous tribes of a mother in the sky who dropped her baby while dancing, now the mother (the evening star), and father (the morning star) are looking for their baby, indigenous children are warned not to look at the stars. These are now commonly referred to as the Min Min lights and have spawned a bit of a modern mystery that has placed the rural township of Boulia on the map as a place of eerie events. The Min Min lights span the Channel Country crossing three states. Various hypotheses have attempted to explain the fear away with science unsuccessfully. Internet is riddled with travellers’ experience of the Min Min lights with even recorded events on youtube like this one. The Pleiades, in various cultures are seen as seven sisters being pursued, usually by a man or beast. With Aboriginal Australian’s this is no different. With the Warlpiri tribe of central Australia, the group of stars are the Napaljarri sisters from one skin group being chased by the Jakamarra man from a different skin group trying to take a wife, forbidden by tribal law. Western commonalities like The Pleiades don’t stop there. While the aborigines look for meaning between the stars in the dark, western cultures look for it in the stars themselves. We do share a common comfort that the stars above us are our loved ones watching peacefully over us. Lake Tekapo, renowned as one of the world’s top three stargazing locations, owes its brilliance to the local commitment to minimizing light pollution. By accessing this website, you agree to accept, without limitation, all of these terms and conditions of use. All bookings made are subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the booking is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of the individuals staying at Bubbletent Australia. Bubbletent Australia has the right to change or update these terms and conditions without prior notice by posting amended terms on our website. **Check in/Check out** Check in: 3:00pm – sunset. In order to offer guests the best experience, please arrive well before sunset. We specifically chose a dark and remote location which as a result can be hard to get around for the first time in total darkness, however roads are clearly signposted and directions are clear, you should be able to find your tent even in the dark for the first time. Check out: By 10:00am Variations on these times may be available and there may be a charge but must be arranged prior. Please enquire before making your booking. **Bookings** Bubbletent Australia is an adult only campsite and is unsuitable for babies, children, or teenagers. You must be at least eighteen (18+) years of age to make a booking and stay at Bubbletent Australia. You must pay the full amount of your stay before the booking will be confirmed. You agree to not bring any more people than the bubbletent has been booked for. It is two (2) adults permitted per tent. Only paying guests are allowed on the property and visitors are strictly not permitted. This includes (but is not limited to) photographers, tour operators and other local service providers. Permission may be granted only by management’s prior consent and at managements sole discretion. Only those persons indicated on the booking form may enter the bubbletent and use the property. Bubbletent Australia reserves the right to request additional guests to leave if this is not adhered to; and in extreme circumstances may evict you from the property without a refund. Bubbletent Australia reserves the right to either: - Request additional guests to leave and pay a minimum fee of $250 per person per night: - Request all guests to leave without a refund and pay a fee of minimum $250 per person per night. Due to the close proximity of wildlife and stock, no pets are allowed on the property. If guests are found to have a pet, or there is evidence of a pet having been on the premises, Bubbletent Australia reserves the right to either: - Request guests to remove the pet immediately and pay a cleaning fee of a minimum $250; - Request guests to leave without a refund and pay a cleaning fee of a minimum $250. Bubbletent Australia strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover items including but not limited to: loss of booking amount through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses. When staying at Bubbletent Australia, please keep all valuables and belongings safe. There are no provisions of locks or a safe at any of our tents. In the event that your personal possessions are lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced on the premises, Bubbletent Australia does not assume financial responsibility. Strictly no smoking is permitted on the property and/or in the bubbletent. Any evidence of smoking and/or inappropriate use of fire outside of designated places and/or inappropriate disposal of charcoal can attract an additional cleaning surcharge of a minimum of $250 and a referral to the authorities for negligent behaviour in the most extreme cases. You will also find a fully-run tub of rainwater for the duration of your stay, it can take the bath up to 180min (even more if instructions aren’t followed closely) to heat up to body temperature depending on the conditions and season. Wood-fired bath is thoroughly cleaned between guest stays. Wood-fired bathtubs can be refilled at a cost, please enquire prior to emptying bath with either caretaker or info@bubbletentaustralia.com. Please don’t use your own bubblebaths, soaps, salts, shampoos or scrubs or anything else prior to checking with management. An eco-and-bath-friendly lavender oil has been provided for each stay. An earlier check in of 2pm is available to single nights mainly to permit longer time to heat the bathtub for single night stays. You will find additional safety instructions on the use of wood-fired bathtub on an infographic at each bath area, it can also be obtained by contacting . Please note that while every endevour is made to ensure guest privacy that the property is a working farm and roads and paddocks are in use 24/7. We will worry about emptying it, cleaning and removal of charcoal, you just enjoy it and work on your fire-making and fire-maintenance skills, videos and infographics will be provided to guests and a caretaker is at hand to assist the process. Our bubbletents are located on rural and often undeveloped areas of land that may not be staffed 24/7. As such you (the guest or traveller) acknowledge that it is your responsibility to maintain your own safety in and around our bubbletents and property. You acknowledge that you are aware of the risks entailed in the remote rural environment (including but not limited to: spiders, wombat holes, snakes, hot summer temperatures, cold temperatures in winter, windy conditions, unexpected bushfires and smoke, snow and icy conditions, hail, thunder and lightning, high escarpments) and the low-light environment at night that is preserved for the benefit of stargazing. The location of your bubbletent will be sent in a welcome guide upon full receipt of funds and the completion of the online check-in and credit card authorization process within two weeks of your stay. You won’t be able to attend and risk forfeiting your booking if you fail to complete the pre-authorization. Any damage, loss or expense incurred by management as a result of your stay will be charged against the pre-authorized credit card used during the online check in and may exceed the limit of the pre-authorization if the costs incurred exceed the pre-authorization. Examples of this include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements or extra guests beyond those declared. You agree to leave the site and the bubbletent in the condition it was on arrival, and that you will report any damages which have occurred during your stay. Bookings may be transferred to another guest only with managements prior written approval and the payment of a $80 variation fee. All bookings are subject to availability. **Cancellation policy** Due to high demand for our bubbletents, please only book the dates you wish to stay. Please note, our emails are stagged generally 9am-5pm on business days only. Any cancellation or variation to your booking will attract a $80 Variation Fee, excluding any booking or merchant fees. Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 30 days prior to the scheduled check in date to avoid any additional fees. (please note this be up to 32 calendar days if thr booking falls on for example Monday 4th of Oct, we would need to be notified by 5pm on Friday 2nd of Sept to avoid any fees) Cancellations or reschedules made between 29 days and 15 days prior to the scheduled check in date will be required to pay 50% of the booking including the Variation Fee. Cancellations or reschedules made less than 14 days prior to the scheduled check in date will be required to pay 100% of the booking including the Variation Fee. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days. From time to time it may be necessary for Bubbletent Australia to cancel your booking due to events beyond its control. Such events include but are not limited to extreme weather events, bushfires, government directions, government mandated shutdowns, infectious disease, pandemics, or virus, mechanical failures. If Bubbletent Australia is required to cancel your booking due to an event beyond its control, then Bubbletent Australia will provide you with a gift voucher for the same value as the amount you have paid to Bubbletent Australia as at the date of cancellation. Gift voucher terms and conditions can be publicly accessed on our website. You acknowledge and agree that to the extent permitted by law, Bubbletent Australia will have no obligation to refund any money paid by way of any other method. All Cancelations and re-scheduling must be done in writing to the email address listed on Bubbletent Australia’s website in the contact page before 5pm on a business day and will be refunded in the manner with which the booking was initially made. **Weather conditions:** While we have done everything we can to make the experience comfortable in all weather conditions, this is an experience afterall in nature, weather is completely out of our control. We therefore don’t assume any responsibility for adverse weather events and do not offer refunds in lieu of not being able to utilise any of the outside facilities provided due to adverse weather or unsuitable conditions. You will not hold Bubbletent Australia liable for any monetary reimbursement in relation to any new accommodation procured. **Vehicles:** You agree to follow the supplied route to the designated bubbletent and park at the designated parking spot for your bubbletent indicated by signage. You must not attempt to drive off the supplied route. The path to the bubbletent from your designated parking spot is not suitable for driving. Failure to follow this may result in your car being damaged or bogged, or damaging Bubbletent Australia’s property and towing or repairs of property may be required at your expense. Off-roads are particularly not suitable for low-lying cars i.e. sports cars. If you are unsure about any road or track, please check with management prior to booking. Due to the remote location of our grounds there is a component of off-road driving on a track in use traversing crown lands (maintained by council) and neighbouring properties. While all efforts are made to keep the roads suitable for all-weather driving, no responsibility is taken for loss or damage to vehicles including but not limited to rocks or debris on the road, uneven surfaces, exposed rocks, wildlife or washed road surfaces. All roads are in use 24/7 by landholders and Bubbletent Australia staff and invited members of the public **Electronics** Our bubbletent are off-grid, which means we rely on off-grid solar power. Please note that there are no power sockets provided. Our solar kit is carefully calculated to power the existing appliances including the turbine, fridge, electric blankets and the phone charge station only and we are unable to accommodate any external electronics. Any tampering with the electronics in the bubbletent or the solar kit can result in disruption to your stay and/or damage to our equipment. You will be responsible for any liability for expenses or repairs and any potential future loss of revenue. **Campfires** Campfires must only be lit in the designated areas near your bubbletent for the purposes of cooking and subject to suitable weather conditions, fire bans and any directions from management. Fire ban information can be found on the RFS website and we are in the Lithgow LGA and we are in the Central Ranges region. **Sunshield** Guests are required to put the sunshield on during the day either upon checkout or on the second date of their stay. A video with instructions has been provided for guests and the caretaker is able to assist and required to be notified if guests are finding it difficult to put on. **Private Information** You consent and authorise Bubbletent Australia to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purposes of administering your booking and providing you with any services associated with your booking. You consent to information which you have provided to Bubbletent Australia as part of your booking being used by Bubbletent Australia for the purpose of informing you about offers and promotions which relate to Bubbletent Australia. Upon request and to the extent permitted or required by law, Bubbletent Australia will provide an individual with access to and/or the ability to correct their personal information held by Bubbletent Australia.
